According to their Facebook page, PB&J Jazz “has a love of the Jazz genre but focuses on adding flavors of Latin, Blues, Funk, Swing, and a tiny bit of Rock into the mix.”
Phil Cristino is their primary Jazz influence with roots extending all the way from smokey jazz clubs in Cleveland to showrooms on the Las Vegas strip. Phil’s guitar stylings range from solid jazz classics to groove based contemporary music.
Bass player, Kirk Brosius, grew up, musically, in the Los Angeles area with many styles of music on stage and in the recording studio. His bass roots are in Motown, R&B, Latin, Groove, and Soul!
Jose’f Talucci hails from Philadelphia and his love and dedication to the art of percussion has directed him to play all styles of music. His passion for music is obvious as he pushes himself to higher levels of creativity.
To them, PB&J is a “catchy name for a group of fun-loving musicians with over 120 years of collective musical experience.”
